Today marks the sixteenth anniversary of the Montreal Massacre, where the lives of 14 young women were taken at l'Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal. Since 1991, December 6th has been known as the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women in Canada. So let's all take a moment today and remember those women, and all of the other cases of violence against women out there.
